“I give Casa Rosita five stars only because I cannot give seven. It was a delight in every way! The location in a medieval stonework town in this idyllic Pyrenean Valley, the beautiful hardwood paneling and stone work of the room and the building, the balcony that my room had facing the lake, the service from the multitalented server/receptionist/Jill Of All Trades working there, and the restaurant... I enjoyed my meal at Casa Rosita more than I enjoyed my Michelin Star dinner in San Sebastian. There's a little construction going on in the town right now, that's the only thing I can come even close to complaining about. Eriste is far older than many of the contemporary ski-lodge-type buildings in nearby Benasque, which if you are bothering to travel to this beautiful valley, is probably the vibe that youre really after anyway. I can't say enough nice things about this place, staying at this lovely chalet has been the best decision of my trip to Spain.”
